This USGS 7.5-minute topographic sheet is a 1958 edition, printed in 1963, and is in good condition on thick stock: lightly handled, with foldlines, and a pencilled title notation on the back. Covering roughly seven by nine miles in Summit County, Colorado, about 52 miles west of Denver, the quad takes in the Keystone Mountain region from the Swan River to the Snake River and includes the town of Keystone and part of Arapaho National Forest. What makes it notable is timing: it maps all of present-day Keystone Ski Resort and the southern slopes of A-Basin as they were before any lifts existed, drawn from a 1953 and 1958 aerial and field survey.
