Eldorado Springs Colorado Arvada Boulder USGS Topo Map 1961

$38

A 1942 edition printed in 1961, this USGS 7.5-minute topographic sheet is in good condition, lightly handled with foldlines and printed on thick stock. The quad sits in the Front Range foothills about 22 miles northwest of Denver, taking in Eldorado Springs and Coal Creek along with part of Roosevelt National Forest, and its boundaries reach toward Boulder and Arvada to the east. Based on a 1942 field survey by F.L. Gregg, the map records South Boulder Creek before the construction of Gross Dam, showing the canyon country as it looked prior to that reservoir. A pencilled title notation sits in the lower right collar corner.
