This USGS 7.5-minute topographic map is a 1945 edition printed in 1972, in very good condition on thick stock, lightly handled with foldlines and a clean map area free of markings or blemishes. Covering a stretch of Park County about 37 miles southwest of Denver, the quad area takes in the community of Singleton and parts of Pike National Forest, the Mount Evans Wilderness, and the Lost Creek Wilderness. The 50-foot contour interval traces the steep, forested country of the Colorado Front Range high above the South Platte, terrain that draws people who know these mountains firsthand.
