Printed in its first-publication year of 1941, this Fort Logan sheet is a 7.5-minute USGS topographic map in good condition, lightly handled with foldlines and light age discoloration along some of them; the reverse is printed on thick stock. The quad sits in the Denver vicinity and takes in parts of the city along with Lakewood, Littleton, Englewood, and smaller communities like Edgewater, Sheridan, and Bow Mar, spread across Arapahoe, Denver, and Jefferson counties. An early vintage of the detailed 7.5-minute series, it depicts the pre-suburban landscape southwest of downtown Denver toward present-day Marston, before the modern highway system, with rail lines, schools, churches, and cemeteries marked across the map.

A reddish tint is used on this sheet to indicate urban areas where only landmark buildings are depicted. Outside of those areas, all known structures (houses, businesses, churches, schools, barns, cabins, etc) are shown.
