First published in 1942, this sheet was printed in 1964 and is in good condition, lightly handled with foldlines and a pencilled title notation on the back; it’s printed on thick stock. The quad sits in the Front Range northwest of Denver and takes in the town of Nederland along with the communities of Eldora and Rollinsville, plus parts of Roosevelt National Forest and the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Based on a 1942 field survey by M.C. McClellan, it shows the Nederland and Eldora area with all structures known at the time, predating the Eldora Mountain Ski Area that would later put this stretch of the Front Range on the map.
