This USGS 7.5-minute topographic map is a 1957 edition printed in 1961, in very good condition on thick stock, lightly handled with foldlines. Covering a stretch of Boulder County northwest of Denver, the quad takes in the town of Lyons at the mouth of the St. Vrain canyons, along with part of Roosevelt National Forest as the terrain climbs into the Front Range foothills. This sheet comes from the vintage map collection of David R. Wortendyke of Boulder, Colorado, and carries a yellow highlight and an “old” pen notation at the sheet title along with an inventory stamp in the lower collar.
