First published in 1949 and printed in 1969, this USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is in very good condition, lightly handled and never folded on thick stock. It covers a stretch of Park County in northwestern Wyoming, taking in the town of Cody within the quad boundaries at a scale of 1:62,500. Cody sits at the eastern gateway to the country leading toward Yellowstone, and the base compiled from 1944 and 1949 aerial and field survey reflects the area as it was in the mid-century. The map area is flawless, with only slight wear noted at the top collar edge.
