This USGS 15-minute topographic map is a 1957 edition, printed in 1977, and the sheet is in very good condition with a midsheet horizontal foldline and two additional horizontal folds. Covering a stretch of southeastern New Hampshire about 20 miles northwest of Dover, the quad area takes in Farmington, Strafford, and the community of Union, spanning parts of Belknap, Carroll, Merrimack, Rockingham, and Strafford counties. The 20-foot contour interval traces the rolling terrain of the state’s lakes region, and the base map draws on a 1917 field survey that captures the road and rail network of the era.

Outside of those areas, all known structures (houses, businesses churches, schools, barns, cabins, etc) are shown.
