This USGS 15-minute topographic map is a 1951 edition printed in 1967, in very good condition on thick stock, lightly handled and never folded with a flawless map area. Built from 1947 and 1951 aerial and field survey, it takes in part of Death Valley National Park in Inyo County, along with portions of the Death Valley Wilderness and Argus Range Wilderness to the west. With 40-foot contours across roughly 14 by 17 miles of rugged desert country and no towns within its bounds, it suits anyone drawn to the backcountry of the Panamint range.
