This USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is a 1964 edition printed in 1971, and it has been kept in excellent condition, lightly handled and never folded, with a flawless map area. Covering a 15-by-17-mile stretch of Pima County about 25 miles southwest of Ajo, the quad takes in the Agua Dulce Mountains along with part of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and the eastern edge of the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. It also traces the Camino del Diablo, the old desert route through this remote corner of the Arizona borderlands, drawn here at a 40-foot contour interval across largely undeveloped country. Since the sheet was never folded, it lies flat and would frame well.
