This USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is a 1941 edition printed in 1967, and it is in excellent condition, lightly handled and never folded on thick stock. The quad sits about 45 miles southwest of Tucson in Pima County, taking in Baboquivari Peak itself along with parts of the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation, the Baboquivari Peak Wilderness, the Coyote Mountains Wilderness, and the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge. Baboquivari Peak is the granite landmark the quad is named for and the reason the 50-foot contours here read as steeply as they do, and this print comes from the vintage map collection of Art Christiansen of Tempe, Arizona.
