This is a 1961 edition of the Blue quadrangle, printed in 1963 on thick stock and in excellent condition—very lightly handled and never folded, with a flawless map area. Straddling the Arizona–New Mexico line about 65 miles northeast of Safford, the quad takes in parts of the Apache National Forest and the Blue Range Wilderness across Greenlee and Catron counties. With no towns within its boundaries and rugged forest country throughout, it is well suited to anyone drawn to the backcountry of this remote stretch of the White Mountains.
