This USGS 15-minute topographic map is a 1953 edition printed in 1964, in very good condition and never folded on thick stock. Covering the point where Illinois, Kentucky, and Missouri meet, the quad takes in the town of Cairo at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers, along with Mounds, Mound City, and Olmsted, and part of the Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge. The collar carries a library stamp and a small red inventory checkmark in the lower right along with a minor repaired edge tear, while the map area itself is clean and unmarked, making this a good candidate for framing.
