A 1953 edition printed in 1955, this 7.5-minute USGS topographic sheet is in very good condition, never folded and only lightly handled on thick stock. The quad sits in the Knoxville vicinity of Knox County, Tennessee, taking in the Fountain City area north of downtown along with the communities of Halls and Halls Crossroads. Compiled from aerial and field survey work carried out by the Tennessee Valley Authority, it records this stretch of East Tennessee at mid-century, with library stamps in the bottom right collar the only marks on an otherwise clean sheet.
