This USGS/Army Corps of Engineers topographic map is a 1952 edition printed in 1959, in excellent condition: never folded, very lightly handled, and smooth and flat, with a flawless map area and hole punches along the left collar. The quad sits in Cochise County, Arizona, southeast of Tucson, and its boundaries take in Tombstone along with Fairbank, Lewis Springs, and part of the Sierra Vista area. Tombstone’s silver-boom history is well known, and this sheet maps the surrounding country at a 25-foot contour interval on heavy stock that has been kept clean and unmarked.
