This USGS 15-minute topographic map is a 1958 edition printed in 1959, a very good, never-folded sheet on thick stock with only light handling and a small pencilled title notation on the back. Covering roughly 15 by 17 miles of Cochise County near Douglas, it takes in country along Arizona’s southeastern edge and includes part of the San Bernardino National Wildlife Refuge within its boundaries. Drawn from 1956 and 1958 aerial and field survey, it records the dry border-country grasslands and drainages of this corner of the state at 40-foot contour detail.
