This USGS/Army Corps of Engineers 7.5-minute topographic sheet is a 1952 edition, printed in 1964, and is in good condition, moderately handled but never folded. Drawn from a 1951 and 1952 aerial and field survey, the quad takes in Tombstone in Cochise County, southeastern Arizona, along with Walnut Gulch and Comstock Hill within its boundaries. Tombstone’s name carries its own weight in the history of the Arizona Territory, and this sheet maps the town and the surrounding country at a 25-foot contour interval. The bottom collar carries an inventory stamp, and minor edge tears have been stabilized with clear archival tape on the backside.
