Printed in its year of first publication, 1983, this USGS 7.5-minute topographic sheet is in excellent condition, never folded and kept smooth and flat with a flawless map area. Covering part of southeastern Oahu, the quad takes in Kailua, Waimanalo, and Waimanalo Beach along with Maunawili inland, reaching out over the Pacific to include bathymetric sea-depth contours offshore. Those offshore depth lines make it more than a land map, tracing the shallows and drop-offs along this stretch of windward coast. Having never been folded, the sheet would frame well.

A reddish tint is used on this sheet to indicate urban areas where only landmark buildings are depicted. Outside of those areas, all known structures (houses, businesses, churches, schools, barns, cabins, etc) are shown.
