A 1960 edition printed in 1961, this USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is in excellent condition, never folded and only very lightly handled. It covers a stretch of the Ouachita Mountains in Scott and Yell counties about 20 miles southwest of Danville, taking in part of the Ouachita National Forest along with the small communities of Gravelly, Bluffton, Waltreak, and Blue Ball. Drawn from 1955 and 1960 aerial and field survey, it shows the forested ridges and valleys of west-central Arkansas at a 40-foot contour interval, and the sheet is printed on thick stock with a flawless map area that would frame well.
