Printed in 1946, its year of first publication, this vintage USGS 7.5-minute topographic sheet is in very good condition, lightly handled and never folded on thick stock. Drawn from a 1944 field survey, it takes in the far southwest edge of Little Rock and the smaller communities of the Pulaski and Saline County line, including Bryant, Mabelvale, Shannon Hills, and Alexander. It records these suburbs as they stood before Interstate 30 and the 430 Loop reshaped the area, and it carries a library notation and stamp in the lower left collar and a stabilized edge tear in the upper right, having come from a decommissioned Arizona university library collection.
