A 1941 edition printed in 1958, this USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is in very good condition, never folded, with a flawless map area and only light age-toning and minor handling wear at the bottom. It takes in a stretch of the Sonoran Desert about 70 miles southwest of Tucson within Pima County, covering part of the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation, with the community of San Miguel falling inside the quad boundaries. The sheet runs right up to the international border, where the Mexico side is left unsurveyed, and it was printed on thick stock, a plus for anyone who wants a clean, flat sheet from the vintage map collection of Art Christiansen of Tempe, Arizona.
