Makaopuhi Crater Hawaii USGS 7.5-Min Topo Map 1983 Vintage
$50
This USGS 7.5-minute topographic map is a 1981 edition printed in 1983, and the sheet is in excellent condition, very lightly handled and never folded. It takes in country within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park about 29 miles south of Hilo on the Big Island, with Makaopuhi Crater the feature the quad is named for and part of the Hawaii Volcanoes Wilderness falling inside its boundaries. The 20-foot contour interval traces the rift-zone terrain of this active volcanic landscape, and having never been folded, the flat sheet is a good candidate for framing.
