It covers a stretch of Aroostook County in northern Maine about 20 miles west of Presque Isle, with the town of Ashland within the quad boundaries. The map takes in the wooded, river-laced country of Maine’s north woods, the kind of terrain the logging and river-drive history of this corner of the state was built on.
