This USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is a 1904 edition, printed in 1958, and is in very good condition, never folded and lightly handled. Covering an area roughly 20 miles west of Pittsburgh, the quad takes in Burgettstown along with Midway, Imperial-Enlow, and smaller communities such as Slovan, Westland, and Frankfort Springs across parts of Allegheny, Beaver, and Washington counties. Based on a 1904 field survey under geographer H.M. Wilson, it records the region before the modern highway system, showing the overland travel routes, rail lines, and structures of that era. Printed on thick stock, the sheet carries a library stamp in the center-right collar and has edge protectors applied.
