This USGS 7.5-minute topographic sheet is a 1954 edition printed in 1963, in good condition after moderate handling, with foldlines and minor discoloration along some of them. Covering roughly 7 by 9 miles about 10 miles southwest of Gunnison, Colorado, it takes in a stretch of the Gunnison River valley within Gunnison and Saguache counties, with 20-foot contours across the surrounding terrain. It captures the river before it was inundated by Blue Mesa Reservoir, showing the now-abandoned villages of Iola, Elkhorn, and Hierro, and the sheet is printed on thick stock.
