This USGS 15-minute topographic map is a 1906 edition, printed in 1962, in very good condition on thick stock and never folded. Covering a stretch of southeastern Pennsylvania in Lancaster and Berks counties, the quad takes in New Holland along with Ephrata, Akron, Reamstown, Denver, and the Leola and Leacock communities of Lancaster’s farm country. The base map reflects the landscape recorded in H.M. Wilson’s 1905 and 1906 field survey, capturing the towns and rural roads of this corner of Pennsylvania Dutch country. The sheet carries a library stamp in the center right collar and minor paperclip residue in the lower right corner, while the map area itself is flawless.
