Printed in 1964 from a 1947 edition, this USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is in flawless condition, very lightly handled and never folded on thick stock. The quad sits in the high country north of Prescott in Yavapai County, taking in the area around Paulden and Williamson along with part of the Prescott National Forest, with 50-foot contours mapping the terrain across roughly 14 by 17 miles. The base was compiled from a 1946 and 1947 aerial and field survey credited to the Forest Service, and this clean, unfolded sheet comes from the vintage map collection of Art Christiansen of Tempe, Arizona.
