This USGS 15-minute topographic map is a 1961 edition printed in 1965, in fair condition on thick stock. Covering a stretch of the Cascade crest about 50 miles east of Seattle, the quad takes in Snoqualmie Pass itself along with Hyak, the ski country around the summit, and portions of the Snoqualmie and Wenatchee National Forests, the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, and Keechelus and Kachess Lakes across King and Kittitas Counties. The sheet has been handled considerably and carries foldlines, with wear along the folds but a clean map area free of markings, and the pass has long been the main route over the mountains between Seattle and central Washington.
