Printed in its year of first publication, 1947, this USGS 7.5-minute topographic sheet is in good condition, never folded but moderately handled and age-toned along the bottom of the map area. It takes in country in the Clark and Floyd county area of southern Indiana near Clarksville, with the boundaries of this quad also including Sellersburg and the community of Memphis. Drawn from a 1937 and 1938 field survey with Albert Pike credited as geographer, the sheet is printed on thick stock and carries a pencilled notation in the top collar and printed reference material on the reverse.
