Printed in its year of first publication, 1950, this USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is in very good condition, lightly handled and never folded on thick stock. The quad sits about 55 miles west of Spokane in Lincoln and Ferry counties, taking in the town of Wilbur, the community of Creston, and part of the Colville Indian Reservation to the north. Built from 1946 and 1948 aerial and field surveys, it records the wheat country of the Columbia Plateau as it looked at mid-century, and the map area itself is flawless, with only a small library stamp in the bottom collar. The reverse carries printed reference material on the mapping program and how to read the contours.
