This 1958 edition, printed in 1959, is a 15-minute USGS topographic sheet in very good condition, lightly handled and never folded on thick stock. Roughly 65 miles southwest of Phoenix, it takes in the Sauceda Mountains and part of the Barry Goldwater Range in the desert country of Maricopa and Pima counties, with a portion of the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation within its boundaries. Built from a 1949 and 1958 aerial and field survey, it maps a stretch of remote Sonoran Desert backcountry, and comes from the vintage map collection of Art Christiansen of Tempe, Arizona.
