This USGS 7.5-minute topographic map is a 1965 edition printed in 1967, a never-folded sheet in good condition on thick stock. Straddling the Mississippi River where Tennessee meets Arkansas, the quad takes in the northwest side of Memphis along with West Memphis on the Crittenden County side, and the Frayser and Midtown areas fall within its boundaries. Drawn from 1963 and 1965 aerial and field survey, it captures the river’s crossing and the built-up neighborhoods on either bank at 1:24,000, with 10-foot contours picking out the low relief of the floodplain. The map area shows no wear or markings, though the lower right collar carries library stamps and notation with slight red discoloration at the inventory mark.
