This 1946 edition of the Mansfield quadrangle, printed in 1961, is a USGS 7.5-minute topographic map in good condition, its map area showing only very minor wear though the sheet has been moderately handled and carries foldlines. Covering an area about 22 miles south of Boston, the quad takes in Mansfield Center along with Sharon, Walpole, and Foxborough across Bristol and Norfolk counties. Drawn from a 1936 aerial and field survey and printed on thick stock, it makes an excellent historical reference for this stretch of southeastern Massachusetts.
