This USGS 7.5-minute topographic map is a 1965 edition printed in 1967, and the sheet is in very good condition, lightly handled and never folded. Based on a 1963 and 1965 aerial and field survey, it takes in country in Pinal County about 38 miles southeast of Phoenix, with the Sacaton Mountains giving the quad its name and the area around Casa Grande falling within its boundaries. Since the sheet was never folded and has a flawless map area with a clean collar, it lies flat for framing.
