This USGS 7.5-minute topographic map is a 1955 edition printed in 1963, in very good condition on thick stock and never folded, with a flawless map area. Spanning the New Jersey–New York state line about 24 miles north of New York City, the quad area takes in Park Ridge and River Vale on the New Jersey side and Pearl River, Nanuet, Spring Valley, and Tallman across the line in Rockland County. Drawn from aerial and field survey work carried out between 1934 and 1944, it records the close-set suburban towns of Bergen and Rockland counties at 10-foot contour detail. The sheet was lightly handled and shows no wear, tears, or markings, with only hole punches in the left collar.
