This USGS 15-minute topographic sheet was first published in 1935 and printed in 1964 with photorevisions through that year, and the sheet is in very good condition – lightly handled and never folded, on thick stock. Covering a stretch of northeastern Pennsylvania about 15 miles southeast of Honesdale, the quad takes in the town of Hawley and the community of Tafton across parts of Wayne, Pike, and Monroe counties. The map area is flawless, though the collar carries a library stamp and minor paperclip residue in the lower right corner, and edge protectors have been applied. Because the sheet was never folded and lies flat, it frames well for anyone with a tie to the Pocono lake country this quad covers.
