Printed in 1960 from a 1946 edition, this 7.5-minute USGS topographic sheet is in very good condition, lightly handled and never folded, on thick stock. The quad sits in the Lackawanna Valley northeast of Scranton, taking in the borough of Olyphant along with Dunmore, Blakely, Archbald, Dickson City, and Jessup, with part of Scranton itself falling within its boundaries. Drawn from a 1942 and 1946 aerial and field survey, it records this stretch of the anthracite coal region before the modern interstate system was built through it. The map area is flawless, with hole punches in the left collar.

This vintage sheet is a 1946 edition of the Olyphant Pennsylvania USGS topographic map. It is an original 66-year-old 1960 United States Geological Survey print in very good condition.
