This San Antonio East quad is a joint USGS / Army Corps of Engineers 7.5-minute topographic map, a 1953 edition printed in 1959 on thick stock, in very good condition after light handling and never having been folded. It takes in the eastern side of San Antonio in Bexar County, Texas, with the quad area including Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, Olmos Park, and Kirby. Drawn from a 1952 and 1953 aerial and field survey, the map predates the eastward suburban buildout and the modern freeway system, recording the structures that stood outside the city at the time. The map area shows no wear, markings, or blemishes, with only minor handling wear noted in the lower collar.
