This USGS 15-minute topographic map is a 1951 edition printed in 1974, and the sheet is in very good condition, lightly handled and never folded on thick stock. It takes in country in Skagit and Whatcom counties north of Sedro-Woolley, with the quad area including Lyman, Hamilton, Acme, and Wickersham along with part of Mount Baker National Forest. The 50-foot contour interval traces the foothill terrain rising toward the Cascades, the kind of ground anyone familiar with this stretch of the upper Skagit valley would recognize. Because the sheet was never folded, it lies flat and is a good candidate for framing.

This vintage sheet is a 1951 edition of the Wickersham Washington USGS topographic map revised in 1951 using aerial photography. It is an original 52-year-old 1974 United States Geological Survey print in very good condition.

A reddish tint is used on this sheet to indicate urban areas where only landmark buildings are depicted. Outside of those areas, all known structures (houses, businesses, churches, schools, barns, cabins, etc) are shown.
