This USGS 7.5-minute topographic map is a 1965 edition carrying photorevisions through 1978, printed that same year, and the sheet is in excellent condition: never folded, smooth and flat, with a flawless map area. It covers the Badger Mountain quad in Benton County near Kennewick, taking in South Richland and parts of Richland and Kennewick along with the community of Badger, all within a roughly six-by-nine-mile area of southeastern Washington. The survey work predates the construction of Interstates 82 and 182, so the sheet records the road network of this stretch of the Tri-Cities before those highways reshaped it. A library stamp sits in the top collar and a very small inventory notation in the lower right corner, and having never been folded, the sheet lies flat for framing.

This vintage sheet is a 1965 edition of the Badger Mountain Washington USGS topographic map revised in 1978 using aerial photography. It is an original 48-year-old 1978 United States Geological Survey print in excellent condition.

The map was photorevised in 1978. Any features that changed or were added between the original edition year of 1965 and the photorevision year of 1978 are overlayed in purple. The purple overlay provides an excellent view of the fast-growing and changing areas within the quad boundary.
