This USGS 15-minute topographic map is a 1930 edition printed in 1964, and the sheet is in very good condition: never folded, moderately handled, with a light crease across the bottom. Straddling the Pennsylvania–New York line about 35 miles northeast of Scranton, the quad takes in the area around Hancock, New York, along with the communities of Starrucca and Orson in Pennsylvania. The 20-foot contours trace the ridge-and-valley country of the upper Delaware watershed, and the never-folded sheet on thick stock, with edge protectors already applied and a small library stamp in the lower collar, makes it a good candidate for framing.
