1954 Salida California USGS Topo Map: Modesto

$48

This 7.5-minute USGS topographic sheet maps the Salida quadrangle in California’s Central Valley, a 1953 edition printed in 1954 at 1:24,000 with 5-foot contours. The quad straddles the San Joaquin–Stanislaus county line just north of Modesto, taking in Salida itself, West Modesto, and the farmland reaching toward Ripon and the Stanislaus River. Printed on thick stock and never folded, it stays smooth and flat in excellent condition, capturing the valley’s irrigated orchards and crop land as it stood in the early 1950s.
