Printed in its year of first publication, 1948, this USGS 7.5-minute topographic sheet is in good condition, lightly handled with foldlines and printed on thick stock. Drawn from field surveys of 1917 and 1946, it takes in the Central Valley farm country around Livingston in Merced County, with Delhi and Winton also falling within the quad boundaries. Two railroad bridges near Livingston have been emphasized with cartographic tape on the map area, a hand-marked detail that ties this particular sheet to the rail lines threading through the valley; the reverse carries printed USGS reference material.
