This USGS 7.5-minute topographic map is a 1960 edition, printed in 1962 on thick stock, and the sheet is in very good condition, lightly handled and never folded. Covering an area about 28 miles north of State College along the Centre and Clinton county line, the quad takes in part of Sproul State Forest and a stretch of the West Branch Susquehanna River. The forested ridges and river valley here are the kind of country the 20-foot contours trace in detail, and with a flawless map area and clean collar, this print has held up well.
