This USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is a 1942 edition, printed in 1958, and is in good condition with a clean map area and only very minor collar wear; the sheet has foldlines and is printed on thick stock. Covering about 13 by 17 miles roughly 25 miles north of Williamsport in northern Pennsylvania, the quad area takes in the town of Canton along with Alba and Ralston, spanning parts of Bradford, Lycoming, Sullivan, and Tioga counties. Mapped from a 1941 and 1942 field survey by geographer C.R. Atkins, it records this stretch of the north-central Pennsylvania hill country in fine detail at 20-foot contour intervals.
