This USGS 15-minute topographic sheet is a 1955 edition, printed in 1960, and is in very good condition: lightly handled and never folded. The quad takes in a stretch of east-central Pennsylvania across Columbia, Northumberland, and Schuylkill counties, including Bloomsburg, Catawissa, Mount Carmel, Ashland, Kulpmont, and Girardville within its boundaries. Its coverage falls squarely in Pennsylvania’s anthracite coal country, and the base reflects field and aerial survey work from the 1940s carried through revisions between 1953 and 1955. A library stamp sits in the center right collar, and edge protectors have been applied to the sheet.
