This Army Map Service topographic sheet is a first-year 1954 print, published and printed that same year, and is in good condition with light handling and foldlines. Covering the border country about 30 miles east of San Diego, the quad area takes in Morena Village and the community of Tecate, along with portions of the Cleveland National Forest, the Pine Creek Wilderness, and the Hauser Wilderness. Drawn from a 1942 and 1943 aerial and field survey, it depicts rugged terrain along the California-Mexico line, and a hand-added colored pencil notation marks Tecate Peak Lookout within the map area.
