1960 Redwood Point California USGS Topo Map

$40

This is a USGS 7.5-minute topographic map of the Redwood Point quadrangle in California, a 1959 edition printed in 1960, drawn at 1:24,000 with 5-foot contours. The quad straddles the southern end of San Francisco Bay along the Alameda and San Mateo county line, covering portions of the shoreline near Fremont, Hayward, Redwood City, Menlo Park, and Foster City, with part of the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge in the area. The fine contour interval traces the salt ponds and tidal flats of the bay margin before much of the shoreline was reshaped by later development. Never folded, with a flawless map area, it would frame well.
